Connecticut Yankee, The Musical
Based on the Mark Twain classic, this adaptation by Tim Kelly with
music and lyrics by Larry Nestor, takes the audience on a tuneful journey to
Camelot. Experience the thrilling days of King Arthur, and the Knights
and Ladies of the Round Table with Hank Morgan, a modern-day teenager from
Hartford, Connecticut who is knocked out where working on his school’s stage
crew. Finding himself in Camelot, England, he is quickly hailed as a
great wizard after he predicts an eclipse of the sun. While trying to
modernize Camelot with bicycles, T-shirts, and telephones, he finds himself
saving Camelot from an invasion by the king’s wicked half-sister.
There is great fun and excitement for everyone as Hank overcomes the evil
plot and finds his way back to Connecticut. Musical.

The Musical
Due to a variety of extenuating
circumstances, the Children's Theatre auditions for A Connecticut
Yankee, the Musical will NOT take place this Sunday.
Instead, auditions will be held on Sunday, January 17, 1:00-4:00 p.m.,
at Columbia Gas on MacCorkle Avenue, near the University of Charleston.
Roles are available for ages 8 to adults. Be prepared to sing a
brief song and bring a small photo.

Tickets are on sale at the door of the Charleston Civic Center -
Little Theatre before each public performance.
Tickets can be purchased the week of the production at the Civic Center
Box Office...during normal business hours.
